Friday Favourite: Lemon and Ginger Tea

This week I have been having a lot of lemon and ginger tea. They are such complimentary flavours and it’s a great way to have a tea without the caffeine.

Seeing as I have been ill this week, this tea has definitely been my friend. There is something very soothing about it, and ginger has long been regarded as a medicinal herb. It promotes digestion and is great for any kind of stomach upset or cold as it warms your lungs. It has also been used to treat a sore throat.

All in all, it is a awesome drink that will help with most things. Best of all, it tastes great! Give it a try if you haven’t done before. If you want it a bit sweeter, add some honey too.
