You all know how much I love cooking with herbs. They can completely transform a healthy dish for very little money and without adding loads of calories. As well as herbs being great to add flavour, did you know that they have lots of health benefits as well?
I got sent this herb body map by Baldwins, where you can buy lots of herbs and supplements, and I wanted to share it with you all to show what herbs are good for each part of the body. I always tell people to drink peppermint tea if they have a stomach ache, as it has always worked for me – it is really soothing. I find it interesting to see that chamomile is good for headaches, I will have to give that a try. I try to stay away from taking medication as much as possible for things like headaches or stomach ache, as I think you can come to rely on them. I am definitely going to give some of these other ones a try too.
How can you include more herbs in your diet? You can add them into recipes when cooking or sprinkle on raw over salads, or you can buy herb supplements. One of my favourite ways to include them is by drinking herbal tea, you can get some great flavours.
