I pretty much live in my workout clothes. It’s not like I am working out all day, but I usually don’t workout until later in the day and as I work from home, I can put on my workout clothes as soon as I wake up as a reminder that I need to workout. Some of my workout clothes, although perfect for workouts, are not ideal for sitting in the office pre-workout, which is why I really like Gym Junk clothes.

They are not so much a technical sports clothing brand as the clothes are not practical for actually workout out (which is not their aim), but more of a pre/post workout lifestyle brand. I have worn the jogging bottoms pictured above on my way to the gym with my running shorts underneath as I don’t want to walk to the gym in just shorts in the freezing cold weather and they have been ideal for that. If you usually workout in just a sports bra and shorts (I do at home, but not with gym workouts), then the vests are good for throwing on after my workout for whilst I have my post workout snack before I jump in the shower.

On Gym Junk’s website they say “We wanted to create a clothing brand, influenced by our passion for an active life style, that would blur the boundaries between gym and life wear, at the same time helping those in need.” I think they have achieved this and the clothes are stylish (I love the bright colours) and comfortable for pre and post workouts. I used to only wear black workout clothes, but now the brighter the better. I feel like the extra colours give me more energy.

I also really like that making a difference is ingrained in their philosophy and they give 30p of every transaction to the customers chosen charity.

If you are buying a Christmas present for someone that is in to health and fitness, then some Gym Junk clothes would go down well. I know that I would love to get some as a present. They are having a 2 day 15% off sale this weekend in the run up to Christmas – even better!

How great that they donate some of their profits to charity. More companies should do that!
