I know some people are a bit funny about mushrooms. I get it, they are a strange texture and a little slimy, but I love them. When I was a vegetarian, they were a staple in my diet. Mushrooms and cheese are such a good combination, that they had to feature in my party food selection.
- 20 mushrooms, washed de-stalked so you can fill the gap.
- 4 tbsp plain cream cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1) Mix the parsley with the cream cheese and add some pepper and stir. Divide the mixture between the mushrooms and place on a baking tray. Bake at 190/375/Gas Mark 5 for 20 minutes.
