The 10 Best Recipes on Hungry Healthy Happy
Feel Free To Share

We are celebrating on the blog today! Hungry Healthy Happy turns 3 today, so I thought that I would share with you the 10 best recipes from the past 3 years. Nobody voted what was the best, I just chose the 10 most popular ones. If you haven’t tried any recipes from the blog yet, here is a good place to start.

If you want to be kept up to date on more delicious and healthy recipes like this, then please subscribe to the blog mailing list (it takes 30 seconds) and you will get sent the new recipes straight to your inbox. Your email address won’t be passed on to anyone and you will never be spammed. Click here to sign up :)

Before I share with you the blog’s top 10, I am going to get a little bit soppy. I just want to say THANK YOU! Thank you for reading my posts, for taking an interest, for your comments, likes and shares and generally thank you for making Hungry Healthy Happy what it is – an amazing community. 3 years ago when I started this blog, it was just a place where I could write about my weight loss and keep track of my favourite recipes. I never thought that anyone else would be interested in it and I definitely never thought that the Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages would grow to what they have.

There have been times when I have cried tears of anger and happiness over the blog, there have been times when the kindness of strangers has overwhelmed me and there have been times where I have had to pinch myself that this little corner of the internet is mine. Although, I like to think it is all of ours (told you I was going to get cheesy). I am so thankful that I can now call this my job, but how can something you enjoy so much be work? But, it is. It is REALLY hard work sometimes, but so, so worth it.

The blog has given me some amazing opportunities over the past few years  and I have met so many great people. There are some VERY exciting things coming soon too – watch this space!

Sorry that bit was so long, it’s just hard to get in to words just how thankful I am. On to the recipes!

I LOVE your chocolate mug cake recipe. Whenever I need a chocolate fix, I make a mug of it. It is nice to be able to have some cake, and for it to be healthier, and not have loads of it left over to tempt me. There are so recipes on this list that I haven’t tried. I am eyeing up all the chocolate ones haha

Reply

52 Dannii

I am so happy you enjoyed it. Give the other chocolate ones a try and let us know what you think.

Happy 3rd Blog Birthday!!! I’m quite new to your website so this is the perfect post for me to start with – some great recipes in there. I’m def going to try your slaw recipe as it’s ideal for a BBQ side this season :-)

I am fairly new to your blog, but we had your lemon pasta for dinner last night and it was really good. My kids didn’t even complain (which is rare). I shall add some of these to my list of meals to try.

I am ashamed to say that I still haven’t made anything from your blog (I’m waiting for you to do a book haha), but all this looks so good. I don’t know which one to make first. If you could pick one to try first, what would it be?

Reply

62 Dannii

The book is hopefully coming soon! I would try the avocado pasta first. If you like avocado, you will LOVE this!

Reply

63 Rachel

I have been following your blog since fairly near the beginning (I remember when you reached 500 Facebook likes lol) and it is great to have seen it grown so much. I am sure you have helped a lot of people to become healthier and happier people xx

Reply

64 Dannii

Thank you :) Even if I just help 1 person, it has all been worth it.

Love the KFC chicken recipe. Breaded chicken…mmmm. It’s the one fast food I really crave – probably because I love chicken.

Reply

66 Dannii

I have never actually had a “real” KFC before. I was a vegetarian for years and then when I started eating meat I was losing weight, so it never appealed. My husband says this tastes just like the real thing though.

Reply

67 Kim

Happy birthday HHH. I hope the next 3 years are good to you too.

I like the sound of the egg baked in avocado. Wouldn’t it be too high in fat though?

Reply

76 Dannii

It is all healthy fats :)

I check your blog every day for new recipes to add to my meal plans and I have never been disappointed by one. What I really enjoyed was your stairs workout the other day. I did it yesterday and OUCH! My legs are on fire this morning. Would you be able to post some more workouts please?

Reply

80 Dannii

Thank you :) Yes, I am going to be posting lots more workouts.
