Here is a round-up of my favourite things from this week including some new workout clothes, carrots straight from my garden, unicorns and delicious Mexican food.
Anyone that grows their own vegetables can relate to the excitement when you finally get to pull them out and eat them (after washing them of course). With carrots, it’s kind of a bit of a surprise, as you never know what they are going to look like or what size they are going to be.
We pulled out carrots up a couple of days ago and were very happy with them. They taste amazing too. So sweet.
I have said it time and time again, but you can never have too many workout clothes. Although my bursting wardrobes may have something to say about that. Sports bras are something that are difficult to find I think, decent fitting ones anyway, so I am always happy to find a new brand that looks good and fits well too.
I was send some sports bras from Freya is try out and I was really impressed. They have a good selection of colours and sizes and they give fantastic support as well. The straps also don’t dig in to you when you are working out, like some sports bras do. Freya are all about making sure that you have the perfect fit for you, so they encourage you to get a fitting before buying one. I think this is great as I am sure all women know, just because you are one size somewhere, doesn’t mean you will be that size everywhere. Having a good fitting sports bra is extremely important.
I tried out some capris as well and whilst they are super comfortable, I have noticed that the stitching has started to come away already, which is a shame. Overall I am really happy with their products though and I will definitely be adding them to my Christmas wishlist.
My favourite meal from this week was Mexican fajita chicken skewers. They are so easy to make the fact that they come with a huge side of guacamole is an added bonus.
If you can be a unicorn, then you should always be a unicorn.
My clean eating food prep has been featured on the Stylist Magazine website. The post is all about the 10 golden rules that healthy people swear by. It’s a good read!
Favourite Time Of The Year
I am SO excited that it is Autumn. It is the time of year for snuggling up on the sofa (with cats if you have them), drinking hot drinks, eating food cooked in the slow cooker and not wanting to get out of bed in the morning because it is too warm until the covers.
