How Do You Make Sweet and Sour Prawns?
This really is a simple dish. Once you have mixed together the ingredients for the homemade sauce, then you just need to fry up the vegetables, add the prawns and then the sauce and cook for a few minutes. It’s so quick and easy. If you use microwaveable rice, this can be ready in under 10 minutes.

Sweet and Sour King Prawns
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 carrots, peeled and diced
- 2 celery ribs, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 thumb size piece of ginger, peeled and finely chopped
- 200 g cooked king prawns (jumbo shrimp)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp runny honey
- 200 g pineapple chunks in natural juices
- 1 tbsp tomato puree (tomato paste)
- 1 pinch Sea salt and black pepper
- Put all of the ingredients into the bowl of the REDMOND Multicooker, close the lid and then press STEW and FISH.
- Set the cooking time to FAST and cook until the program ends. Serve with rice.
