Easy Homemade Flatbreads
These soft, slightly charred and yeast free Easy Homemade Flatbreads couldn't be simpler. Just mix together the flour, yoghurt and baking powder and heat in a dry pan until they puff up.

Servings: 6 people
- 250 g Self-raising flour
- 0.5 tbsp Baking powder
- 0.5 tsp Sea salt
- 250 g 0% Natural yoghurt
Put the dry ingredients in a large bowl and then stir in the yoghurt.
Mix with a spoon until it forms a dough. If it is still really wet, add some more flour.
Put onto a floured surface and knead for a few minutes.
Separate into 6 pieces and then roll them out into 8 inch circles.
Heat a large pan (no oil) and add 1 flatbread at a time and cook for 2 minutes on each side.
- Add some extra flavour to these flatbreads by adding some fresh herbs (parsley or coriander work well) or some garlic granules.
- Use these as a naan bread alternative to go with a curry.
- Brush some melted butter on them before cooking. Give these a nice nutty flavour by using wholewheat flour instead.
