Sweet and Sour King Prawns

  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, peeled and diced
  • 2 celery ribs, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 thumb size piece of ginger, peeled and finely chopped
  • 200 g cooked king prawns (jumbo shrimp)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp runny honey
  • 200 g pineapple chunks in natural juices
  • 1 tbsp tomato puree (tomato paste)
  • 1 pinch Sea salt and black pepper


  • Put all of the ingredients into the bowl of the REDMOND Multicooker, close the lid and then press STEW and FISH.
  • Set the cooking time to FAST and cook until the program ends. Serve with rice.


To cook this without a multicooker, head a little oil in a pan and add the peppers, onion, carrot and celery and gently cook for 5 minutes. Add the garlic, ginger, prawns and cook for a further 2 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and cook for 3 more minutes. Weight Watchers SmartPoints: 1
