Matcha Porridge

On first look it might look like I have blended avocado in to my porridge (not this time), but it is actually matcha powder that gives this Matcha Porridge it's wonderful colour.

  • 40 g porridge oats
  • 300 ml almond milk
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 80 g pomegranate seeds
  • 1 tbsp desiccated coconut


  • Add the oats, milk and chia seeds to a pan and bring to the boil. Stir in the matcha powder and honey and simmer for 3 minutes.
  • Pour in to a bowl and top with pomegranate and coconut.
